Welder II TIG (Cryo)

Location: Wurzen, Germany, or Remote in Southern Europe.

We are looking for a qualified welder to cut and join metals and other materials in our factory. You will operate the appropriate equipment to assemble mechanical structures or parts with great precision. Your work is important because it forms the basis for a strong infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different types of metal and their properties is essential.

• Manufacture of stainless steel welded assemblies

• Set up components for welding in accordance with specifications

• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts to be welded

• Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp parts

• Welding components with manual or semi-automatic welding equipment

• Welding welded assemblies in the PB, PF, PA, PC positions

• Verifying that the weld seam meets specifications

• Reading plans and drawings and measuring values to plan layouts and processes

• Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

• Experience in using various welding equipment and processes (MIG, TIG)

• Experience in using electric or manual tools (saws, angle grinders, calipers, etc.)

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shields, gloves, etc.)

• Experience in welding and manufacturing

   

• Professional certification (AWS welding certificate)

Passed exams in the field of aluminum welding or stainless steel are an advantage:

Aluminum welder exam: EN ISO 9606-2 141 T BW 23 S t06 D50 H-L045 ss nb

Stainless steel exam: EN ISO 9606-1 141 T BW FM5 S s3.0 D60 PH-L045 ss nb

Stainless steel exam: EN ISO 9606-1 135 P FW FM5 S t10 PB ml

Aluminum welder test: EN ISO 9606-2 135 P FW 23 S t10 PB ml
