Proposal Engineer III

The Proposal Engineer III (Senior) will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality technical and commercial proposals in response to client inquiries and tenders. This role requires a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with customer requirements.

• Analyze tender documents, customer specifications, and technical requirements.
• Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals within required timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary information.
• Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and technical documentation.
• Ensure proposals are compliant with client requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Present proposals to clients and provide clarifications when required.
• Support the sales team with technical expertise during negotiations.
• Maintain an updated database of proposals, pricing, and technical references.
• Identify potential risks in proposals and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Continuously improve proposal processes, templates, and tools for efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)

• 7+ years of experience as a Process Engineer or similar.

• Proven experience as a Proposal Engineer, Estimation Engineer, or similar role.

• Strong technical knowledge relevant to the company’s industry.

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and proposal/estimation software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple proposals and meet strict deadlines.

• Team player with strong organizational and coordination skills.

• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make strategic decisions.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Able to articulate issues, build consensus around recommendations, and define next steps
