Übersicht

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the operational management of the warehouse area. He or she ensures the efficient receipt, storage, picking, and shipping of materials and products and ensures compliance with quality, safety, and company standards.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Management and coordination of the warehouse team, including resource planning and training
  • Ensuring the timely processing of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Monitoring and optimizing warehouse organization and processes
  • Carrying out and evaluating inventory checks and cycle counts
  • Responsibility for compliance with safety, quality, and audit requirements
  • Identifying and implementing improvement measures to increase efficiency
  • Communicating with other departments (purchasing, production, shipping)
  • Processing and escalating quality deviations and discrepancies
  • Supporting the introduction of new warehouse technologies and systems

Qualifikationen

  • Completed vocational training in logistics or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in warehousing, ideally with management responsibility
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS)
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation
  • Willingness to continuously improve and work in a dynamic environment
  • Basic knowledge of English
