We are looking for a qualified fitter to help expand our plant in Wurzen, which manufactures cryogenic pumps, heat exchangers, and pumps. You will operate the relevant equipment to assemble mechanical structures or parts with a high degree of precision. Your work is important because it forms the basis for a strong infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of different types of metal and their properties is essential.
Performing high-quality assembly of cryogenic pumps.
Compliance with all technical specifications of the approved design and manufacturing documents in the production run to be processed.
Assembling, aligning, and adjusting all components, including bearings and seals, to tight tolerances.
Troubleshooting and reworking parts and documenting changes.
Checking and documenting design and manufacturing features such as dimensional accuracy, surface quality, etc.
Maintaining tools and equipment in accordance with the 5S principles and internal maintenance and repair measures specified in the QM manual.
Implementation of quality management guidelines (QM-VA, -AA, and test instructions, etc.) within the manufacturing steps.
Performance of acceptance tests (pressure tests, ultrasound, etc.) according to specifications
Compliance with occupational safety, accident prevention, and environmental protection regulations
Performance of packaging and loading work according to specifications.
Completed educational training in a technical field or initial professional experience with production facilities
Experience in reading blueprints, torque values, and testing tools
Experience in bending/flanging/thread cutting of pipes
Confident use of standard processing machines and welding equipment, with particular attention to accident and fire prevention
