The Service Assistant will report to the Business Line Manager.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • As Service Assistant, you will actively support our Service department in international communication with our customers and interested parties.
  • In consultation with colleagues from Sales and Service, you will prepare quotations for our services, repairs and spare parts. You will also process customer orders in our ERP system.
  • You will be responsible for the internal processing of spare parts deliveries etc. (packaging, transportation, ...).
  • You prepare service calls in accordance with agreed maintenance plans for service contracts.
  • You work closely with the purchasing department to procure materials and external processes of the highest quality and at the lowest possible cost and to meet delivery deadlines on time.
  • You document orders, costs, deliveries, quality and inventories.
  • You prepare regular reports for internal and external customers.
  • You will support the preparation of customer training seminars.
  • You will also work closely with the quality assurance team, especially in the follow-up of ISO standards (e.g. ISO9001-2015).
  • After successful familiarization, you will support Finance in invoicing.

Qualifikationen

  • You have successfully completed your technical studies or comparable relevant training.
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in customer service in a manufacturing or industrial service company. (preferably in industrial plant manufacturing)
  • You have also gained practical experience in the areas of accounting, order processing and customer service.
  • You are strong in the organization and administration of operational processes.
  • You are resilient and can handle a high workload in a timely manner.
  • You are analytical, detailed and meticulous and have already built up expertise in report creation.
  • You are a strong communicator in written and spoken English and German.
  • You are customer-oriented and have a strong service mentality.
  • You have already gained experience with common ERP systems (Salesforce, Business Central) as well as Office products.
